Description

D7 film ensures compliance with the requirements of the 1st class of control sensitivity GOST 7512-82 and the control level of class ”B” according to GOST ISO 17636-1. This applies to those radiation thickness ranges that correspond to class C5 film systems according to ISO 11699-1.

Film D7 registers a fairly wide range of radiation intensities, which makes it possible to obtain high-contrast images when scanning different-thickness areas of test objects.

Film D7 is designed for radiographic inspection metals with medium and large atomic numbers;
welded and brazed joints, castings, composites, plastics, ceramics, rubber;
steel objects of small and medium thickness (cost-effective choice in the range of 10 mm or more, taking into account the balance of quality control and performance factors);
objects made of non-ferrous metals, including products made of light metals of great thickness;
when transilluminated together with X-ray apparatuses of pulsed and constant potential, radionuclide sources and accelerators;
when transilluminating structures of different thicknesses using multi-film technology (usually in combination with D4, D5 films).
D7 film can be used with lead intensifying screens or for direct exposure without screens.

Packaging Pb Rollpac: A roll of 0.027mm thick lead shielded film in light, moisture and oil impervious packaging.

The use of cassettes with Rollpac roll film is unnecessary.

Roll film is mainly used for the control of long products, for example, welded circumferential and longitudinal butt joints of pipes, pipelines, pressure vessels.
Rollpac’s unique packaging method ensures that absolute contact between film and lead foil is maintained even when the film is applied to small diameter spherical or cylindrical objects. The use of screens ensures optimal image quality.

When you use roll film, you determine the length of film you want and can take panoramic shots of the girth seam with a single cut of film.
Typically, Rollpac is applied to the object to be monitored and secured with adhesive tape. Identification of the image by its location on the object of control with this technique of transillumination is required only once, which saves time.

The Rollpac envelope opens quickly and easily. The film itself is used “like a knife”, while you need to fix the clean side of the envelope on the table with the lower lead screen and the film with one hand, and with the other hand pull the marked part of the envelope up with the top lead screen. Thus, the film is very easy to remove from the packaging.
The length indicator on the package makes it easy to determine where to cut the film. It also makes it easy to determine how much film is left.

Film size 100 mm x 90 meters.

Sometimes the package may consist of two segments, a total of more than 90 meters. These boxes are marked with green stickers.

The weight of one package of film is ~ 14.5 kg.
